Concrete Sand
Concrete sand is a fine aggregate that is used in the production of concrete or mortar. When mixed with cement and water, a grout is formed that fills the voids between the coarse aggregate. Though typically used in the creation of cement, concrete sand can also be used as pipe sand or as a leveling medium and base layer for above ground pools, patios or walkways.
Plaster Sand
Plaster sand is a finer grade washed sand with smaller particles. It’s often mixed with water and cement to make mortar for laying bricks/blocks. Plaster Sand not only can be used to make plaster but it can also be used in a cement/sand/gravel mix to make concrete. Use Plaster Sand to set pavers, or fill in holes and low spots in your lawn.
Potting Soil
Potting soil is the best soil for planting in containers as it gives the right texture and moisture retention for growing plants in small spaces. It has a texture that holds growing roots, delivering food and moisture while allowing the proper drainage required for potted plants. Please call for more information about our current selection.
Planters Mix
Planter’s Mix can be used anywhere flowering plants grow in a large volume of soil. Our planters mix is a custom blend of sand, compost, forest floor fines and potting soil. Planters Mix is the perfect soil to use when incorporating straight on top of the ground, in raised garden beds, planter boxes and top dressing. However, it is not recommended for planting in small containers.
Unscreened Dirt
Our unscreened dirt is an excellent choice for building up grade in landscaping and molding mounds and shapes. This particular topsoil is best used as a landscaping device or subsoil base and it not recommended for direct planting. It should be noted there is the possibility of finding rocks, roots, weeds or other such foreign substances as this dirt has not been processed.
